Among the major borrowers, REC Ltd -- which is engaged in financial services in the power sector -- was the only company to raise the entire 400 million via approval route of the ECB for the purpose of on-lending, showed the RBI data.

On August 18, too, the DRT had sold the company’s shares worth Rs. 37 lakh through a bulk deal.

The company has just "scratched the surface" when it comes to financial services and is excited about the prospects in multiple verticals like insurance, PhonePe CEO Sameer Nigam told reporters here on Thursday.

The dollar-denominated, Basel III-compliant AT1 notes were finally priced at 4.10 per cent, 0.30 per cent lower than the initial price guidance, the bank said in a statement.

Pronouncing its order on August 9, the two-member bench of the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) gave a split verdict, saying there was difference of opinion between the members of the bench.

This will be the first equity expansion by the company after the Covid-19 pandemic, chief executive Sanjay Sharma said.
