A total of 333 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:14PM (IST).

Price targets set by JM Financial (Rs 1,095), ICICI Securities (Rs 1,100) and Credit Suisse (Rs 1,150) also suggest meagre return potential for the stock.

Promoters held 30.3 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2021, while FII and DII ownership stood at 17.24 per cent and 22.64 per cent, respectively.

Analysts also say rising prices of spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) and coal may support higher oil prices.

The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 4495.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1949.3.

In the spot market, highest purity gold was sold at Rs 46,170 while silver was priced at Rs 60,341 on Monday, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

“We like the entire set of tier one banks. Then in the real estate and the ancillary segment, besides the real estate stocks like Oberoi, Mahindra Lifespace, we also like housing finance companies like HDFC. Besides that, we like FMEG and capital goods stocks.”

On the technical charts, the 200-day moving average of the stock stood at Rs 400.34.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 217.67 points at 59860.21

Among the top 10 names, Ethereum was the biggest loser, down over 5 per cent. Polkadot, Cardano, Binance Coin and XRP dropped 3-5 per cent. Others also declined over 2 per cent.
